Recently, Mr. Benjamin has represented numerous clients dealing with all aspects of Domestic Violence. Mr. Benjamin has represented victims of Domestic Violence looking to the courts for protection in the form of an injunction. His advocacy has convinced several judges to grant injunctions on behalf of his clients. Mr. Benjamin has also represented individuals wrongly accused of crimes involving Domestic Violence. His advocacy has directly resulted in the outright dismissal of several injunctions. Mr. Benjamin’s representation has also directly led to reduction of charges, generous plea deals and, in many cases, an outright dismissal of all charges by the State in various criminal cases.
Mr. Benjamin graduated cum laude from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. Mr. Benjamin received his B.A. in history from UF, graduating magna cum laude. Mr. Benjamin is involved in the community at large, serving as a Board Member of the Miami Shores Doctors Charter School, a member of the Biscayne Bay Kiwanis Club, a member of the Miami Country Day Alumni Association and as a member of the UF Law Alumni Counsel. Mr. Benjamin is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all circuit courts throughout Florida. Mr. Benjamin is also a Supreme Court certified Civil Court mediator.
